Venue and Location

The SETAC Asia-Pacific 14th Biennial Conference will be held in Tianjin, China and is supported by the College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Nankai University.

The conference will be held at the Society Hill International Convention Center Hotel.

How to get there? 

Tianjin is located in North China and an easily accessible city, being only 30 minutes away from Beijing by high-speed rail. Tianjin is also a metropolitan with a rich history and Chinese culture and is famous for its snack foods. This has made Tianjin one of the most attractive cities in China to visit.

  1. Beijing → Tianjin 

Take the train from Beijing South Railway Station to Tianjin (30 minutes).

There are many train services from Beijing South Railway Station to Tianjin. You can choose to get off at any of the following stations:

  • Tianjin South Railway Station (the closest to the Venue, about 2.5 kilometers away),
  • Tianjin West Railway Station (farther away from the Venue, about 26 kilometers away),
  • Tianjin Railway Station (farthest away from the Venue, about 30 kilometers away). 
  1. Tianjin Binhai International Airport → Society Hill International Convention Center Hotel, Tianjin 

Take Metro Line 2 (9 stops) from BINHAIGUOJIJICHANG Station to TIANJINZHAN Station, transfer to Metro Line 3 (15 stops) to NANZHAN Station, exit from Exit B, and take a taxi (8 minutes) to the Venue. 

  1. Tianjin Railway Station → Society Hill International Convention Center Hotel, Tianjin 

Take Metro Line 3 (15 stops) from TIANJINZHAN Station to NANZHAN Station, exit from Exit B, and take a taxi (8 minutes) to the Venue. 

  1. Tianjin West Railway Station → Society Hill International Convention Center Hotel, Tianjin 

Take Metro Line 6 (8 stops) from XIZHAN Station to HONGQINANLU Station, transfer to Metro Line 3 (7 stops) to NANZHAN Station, exit from Exit B, and take a taxi (8 minutes) to the Venue.
