First-Time Attendee Programme
Are you attending the SETAC Europe Annual Meeting for the first time? Looking to expand your network or enjoy a friendly chat over lunch?
The First-Time Attendee Programme connects participants attending the SETAC Europe Annual Meeting for the first time, fostering valuable networking opportunities and creating meaningful connections among fellow newcomers. By emphasizing relationship-building, the programme ensures you have a strong support network from the very start, helping you feel welcomed and engaged as you begin your SETAC journey.
What to expect:
- Networking with peers: Participants are grouped based on shared professional interests, enabling you to connect with others in your field and explore opportunities for collaboration.
- Pre-meeting connections: Contact details will be shared in advance, allowing you to arrange meet-ups and plan your experience at the meeting in Vienna.
- Guidance and tips: Together with the Student Advisory Council, SETAC will provide practical advice on navigating the meeting and making the most of the broader SETAC network.
How to participate:
This programme is complimentary. To participate, please express your interest and register as a first-time attendee before the early bird deadline of 12 March.

Job Event
Showcase your talents or discover future hires!
The Job Event is the place for students or early-career professionals and organisations to meet, connect and discuss interesting job opportunities during a dynamic speed dating format. There will be ample time to network during the provided breakfast, both before and after the speed-dating sessions. Don’t miss this unique networking opportunity and make lasting impressions!
Costs
- Registration fee for students and early careers: 10€ (50€ to be paid during registration – 40€ will be reimbursed at the job event).
- No participation fee for organisations (exclusive event for SETAC partners).
Student/Early Career
Students or early careers who wish to sign up for the job event should follow these steps:
- Add the job event to your meeting registration as soon as possible. Spots are limited and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Ensure your spot by filling out the application form including a short video (max 3 minutes) introducing yourself before 1 April.
Note: Your place is confirmed only after registering and submitting the form and video. Once received, we will send your confirmation together with the programme. If we don’t receive all the required materials, your registration for the job event will be cancelled, and spots will be offered to the waiting list.
Organisations
This event is exclusive to SETAC Partners. Participating organisations will be announced at a later stage.
Dinner Show
