SETAC Argentina (SETAC ARG) is a regional chapter of SETAC Latin America. The chapter is governed by a constitution and by-laws, coordinated by a board of directors composed of members representing academia, business and government. SETAC ARG holds periodic meetings and activities to bring together environmental professionals in Argentina.
The first SETAC activity in Argentina was held in Buenos Aires in 1997, and during the same year, SETAC ARG became the first chapter within the geographic unit of SETAC Latin America and was approved in accordance with local laws. A year later, the “First Meeting of SETAC Latin America, Argentina Section” was organized. Since then, SETAC ARG has worked continuously to advance SETAC’s vision and mission in Argentina.
