Midwest SETAC is a regional chapter of SETAC North America. Our chapter members represent academia, regulatory agencies, and industries, and includes students studying environmental toxicology and chemistry. Most members reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin, but some also live in Illinois.
What do we do?
Provide a forum for communication and facilitate collaboration among professionals in government, business, academia, and other segments of environmental science.
Organize an annual meeting and short-course to help members stay current with the latest research and network with one another.
Offer students financial support to travel to and present their work at our meeting and at SETAC North America's annual meeting. (Chapter support for the awards varies depending on the location of meeting and number of applicants.)
