Join the Pharmaceuticals Interest Group for an open meeting exploring how pharmacoepidemiologists can help mitigate the environmental and health impact of pharmaceuticals. From overuse and inappropriate disposal to contamination in water systems, this webinar focuses on drug utilization and pharmaceutical waste. Presentations will tackle different approaches on how to assess environmental aspects on drug utilization and include topics such as database studies, primary data collection and wastewater-based epidemiology. The event concludes with a panel discussion addressing strategies for sustainable prescribing, data gaps and decision-making insights.
