Join the SETAC Topical Discussion on Extreme Persistence: Unveil Forever Chemicals and Advance Environmental Safety
Building on the momentum of the SETAC Europe 34th Annual Meeting held last May, we’re excited to announce a follow-up topical discussion, “Addressing Extreme Persistence: Identification, Behavior, and Management of ‘Forever Chemicals’ Beyond PFAS,” held from 16:00–17:30 CET on Tuesday, 12 November.
As the challenge of extreme persistence gains increasing attention, this discussion will explore how we can identify, understand and manage substances that pose significant long-term risks to our environment. With insights drawn from key sessions at the SETAC Seville meeting, expert panelists will cover everything from advanced identification techniques to policy measures for managing these “forever chemicals.”
This virtual discussion is open and free for SETAC full members and SETAC Seville meeting participants. As the name “topical discussion” reveals, you will have plenty of opportunities to participate and contribute to the discussion!
Don’t miss this chance to be part of a critical conversation shaping the future of our planet and join to engage with fellow scientists interested in environmental persistence.
