Now Accepting Abstracts for the Upcoming YES Meeting

Abstract submission is now open for the SETAC 13th Young Environmental Scientists Meeting, taking place from 11–15 August at the University of York in the United Kingdome. This one-of-a-kind meeting, organized by students for students, is a great opportunity for students and recent graduates to present their work, develop new skills, and expand their professional network in a supportive and familiar, yet professional environment.

Take advantage of this chance to grow, learn and connect in a welcoming, student-focused atmosphere. Have a look at the submission guidelines, scroll through the sessions and consider submitting an abstract by 22 April.

This year’s meeting theme, “Between Grinding Gears – Students and Early Career Scientists Under Pressure,” highlights the challenges young scientists face today, from academic pressures to career uncertainties. The four-day event will feature scientific presentations, expert-led workshops and networking sessions, all designed to equip the next generation of scientists with the tools to thrive amidst the “grinding gears” of academic and personal pressures.

To support participation, a limited number of travel grants will be available, and external funding opportunities are listed on the meeting website. The availability of travel grants depends heavily on securing sponsorships, so we warmly welcome any potential sponsors.

Please note that the YES Meeting is a complimentary benefit for full student or recent graduate members. Only those with full membership will be eligible to participate.
