We are thrilled to announce the next SETAC Africa 12th Biennial Meeting as the SETAC 9th World Congress, set to take place from 29 September–3 October 2025 in vibrant Johannesburg, South Africa. Mark your calendars for this global SETAC event, which aims to unite all geographic units and bring together environmental scientists, experts and leaders from around the world to share insights, innovations and solutions in environmental science.

SETAC is calling on dedicated volunteers to join the SETAC Johannesburg Programme Committee. This is a great opportunity for you to contribute and help shape the planning process for the meeting, help steer the (scientific) program framework and ensure the overall scientific excellence of the congress. If you are interested in playing a vital part in the success of the World Congress, we want to hear from you.

Applications are accepted until 25 September. Aiming to compose a global and diverse committee with a balanced sector representation and career stage development, anyone with a full SETAC membership is welcome to apply.
